We are spending $12 Billion/month on Iraq. We are also printing money to do it, which has caused massive inflation: the dollar buys less than 1/3 as much gold as it did before the Iraq war started. While I'm happy for the Iraqis, their liberty has so far cost about a million lifetimes of forced labor here in the US (what do you think $1 trillion taxes represents.)
