China’s online payment volume is projected to be about US$3 trillion in 2017

China’s online payment volume is projected to increase by 500% from 2012 to 2017. This will be nearly US$3 trillion. The estimated level for 2014 is US$1.2 trillion.


China should have 85% of the population with 3G-LTE broadband mobile and 400 million with wired broadband in 2020

By 2016, China will have more than 730 million Internet users and more than 380 million online shoppers, up from 460 million and 145 million, respectively, in 2010.

In 2013 global LTE subscriptions stood at around 200 million, according to Ericsson, and that number is forecasted to hit 2.6 billion. China is expected to account for an increasing proportion of global LTE subscriptions, with is total forecasted to hit 700 million by 2019, meaning it will account for over a quarter of the global total.
