Steven Sprague mentioned that it would be better to verticalize manufacturing. Old textile mills were ten stories but now factories are just one single level on a lot of land.
19 2020. 19 cities will have more than 20 million people by 2020.

China is trying to create space with urban and rural. The cities like Shanghai cannot continue to expand into the countryside because farms are needed to feed Shanghai.


Urbanization is being driven by women. Go to the city for jobs and medical care. Allows them to get away from bad relationships in the rural areas.
