Yesterday, I saw what appeared to be a fabric wing flying car (looked like the Atair Chimera) flying about 300 feet over my city (east bay of San Francisco Bay Area)
It had a yellow parafoil.
It was some distance away, so it could have been the UAV insect
From the distance that I was viewing the foil appeared 2 inches across and the car or UAV below was about dime size. But it had controlled flight and crossed overhead in steady flight for 2-3 blocks. It was not just gliding.
In the pictures in this article, the top one is the Chimera (two person flying dune buggy) and the bottom is the unmanned insect.
