McKinsey has more projections of changes in China’s per capita wealth

Chinese migrate to the cities for higher-paying work, they are steadily climbing the income ladder. By 2011, McKinsey research suggests, China should have a lower middle class of 290 million people; by 2025, the upper middle class will be 520 million strong

By 2015 the exchange rate is likely to be in the range of 5 RMB to 1 USD instead of 2007 7.6 RMB to 1 USD.

By 2025 the exchange rate would likely by 3 RMB to 1 USD.
